Hi,

is it possible to hide all closed topics?

With apologies for continuing a relatively old topic (the context is linked from the opening post above):

Please, what exactly does it do?

I imagine that including it within the URL will:

  • have no special effect when performed by someone at, for example, level 1
  • be effective when performed by, for example, an administrator
  • effectively open (not hide) a topic that is closed.

Eso no hace eso. Añadir ?status=algo a la URL simplemente cambia los temas que se te muestran. Al eliminarla (o navegar por el sitio) se restablecerá la vista a la configuración predeterminada. En el caso de ?status=open, se eliminarán todos los temas cerrados de la vista actual, permitiéndote ver solo los temas abiertos. Otros estados útiles son ?status=closed, ?status=unlisted y ?status=deleted, teniendo en cuenta que los dos últimos solo funcionan para el personal del sitio.

Prueba añadiendo ?status=open a la URL de Meta. Observa que el tema de bienvenida fijado ya no aparece. Si el tema fijado ya no está en la parte superior, prueba a ir a Contribute > Bug, cambiar a la vista más reciente y añadirlo allí. Deberías notar que todos los temas cerrados desaparecen.

Excellent, thank you.

It seems to me that:

  • where / defaults to Categories, /?status=unlisted is not effective
  • where / defaults to Categories, /latest?status=unlisted is effective

– and so on. I guess, that’s by design, where emphases are on categories, but if you suspect a bug please let me know; I’ll raise a topic in the appropriate category.

Those parameters only work on Latest (to my knowledge).

I do not think they were considered in the Categories and Latests view on the categories page.
