Highlight to quote is fabulous

I’ve become so used to (spoiled by?) Discourse’s highlight-to-quote feature that I’ve started to consider it a “missing” feature in email.

Well done!


It is, in fact, a missing feature. I’m pretty sure that Gmail used to let you do that.

And now, it seems, that the whole notion of replying with responses interspersed with the quoted message is a thing of the past, as the last time I did it, the receive thought that I hadn’t said anything since his mail client hid all of my text.

Oh, this is praise, not, old-guy-laments-that-the-world-is-changing. Sorry.
