I think that multisite is pretty much “supported” but it’s expected that if you go down that road you know that more is expected of you (e.g., you need to think about what rebuild app means in various contexts). I’d say that it’s “advanced”, but not “super super advanced”.
Agreed that teriary categories and subfolder are “super super advanced”.
