I was surprised to see people were able to post a video here, and then I noticed the icon at the bottom of my comment which allows me to do that. Do you know if there is capability for Discourse to support video posts on our forums?
Yes, the forum can store and play videos.
You need to allow formats of video that can fit the authorized extensions to apply it to any users. This site setting can be found in the Files section of your site settings. Common video formats are MP4 and MOV.

I added in MOV and MP4 and it still won’t let me upload a video from my phone. Is there something I’m missing?

Those files can be way too big? What is max size of uploads?

102400kB, which is the largest it will let me choose. Two videos posted just fine, but the third was 145 MB so I shall now teach the more tech bewildered members how to use Dropbox! Thank you so much, @Jagster.
