I tried loading multiple images and works fine
but can I load images in postins?

Yes, you can upload videos in posts.
Site admins have full control over what extensions are allowed in user posts via the authorized_extensions setting under admin > settings
it defaults to this
You can add any extension you want to that list.
Discourse will handle most of the common web video formats by default.
