How to get specific category banners with subcategories listed below

Hello! I’m new to Discourse and CSS but I’m trying to see if I can replicate this one forum’s category banners.

I’m not entirely sure how they did it but was wondering if anyone here could either point me in the right direction or tell me if it’s more than just CSS (likely is)

As you can see in the picture, there is an image banner before the categories. Basically it’s categorizing the categories :laughing:

Yeah it definitely appears to be more than CSS, I think they’ve edited the category page template to add those images to their HTML (the relevant template is categories-only.hbs)… There’s more on overriding templates in the advanced section of Developer’s guide to Discourse Themes
