From a marketing and psychology perspective, we see that our community needs to increase the number of characters in the category name (length of the category name).
We checked on meta.discourse.org , but there is no answer to do this.
Long category names are important because they are personal, which is very important in the current era of content consumption.
We are looking forward to solutions and ways of doing it from Discourse experts

AFAIK you cannot increase it, but this post may help:
I took a look and there’s indeed a limit on the character count for category names. I’ve never ran into it because it’s 50 characters - which is very high.
I’m sure there’s a reason why you want to use that name but I would recommend using a shorter name.
A category name that long will give you trouble when it’s displayed in different places across the UI. We truncate super long names anyway. So, even if you mange to create a category with a name that long - which is not currently possible - m…

Actully totally opposite. And then the solution would be review your policy. Plus such very long category names has tendency break ayout, plus those make navigation very difficult, specially in mobiles.
