I wish there was more customization with the emails. Just text is so boring. Is there a way to add images, gifs, etc? Our “Welcome User” email needs to be livened up a bit.

go to admin > customize > Email in the dropdown you can select the different emails being sent

I understand that. I’m in the editor. There just isn’t an option to add images or gifs like there is in the box I am typing in right now.

unfortunately that composer is not the same at the message composer.

You can use something like https://beefree.io/templates/ to create a beautiful email template and then copy the html code into email style, that runs with standard email html.
