I think you might have contradicted yourself here. Infinite scrolling is meant to improve readability on longer topics. Personally, and I believe others will agree with me on this, you don’t want to do this. The stance on pagination has been very firm as in not happening. I’m going to link Kris’ post below

Need to disable infinite scroll in home page

That’s still not specific enough. We’re looking for more specific details here so the problem can be understood. Why does infinite scrolling need to be disabled? Why is a user finding infinite scrolling annoying? We’re looking for specific answers to these questions because disabling infinite scrolling isn’t trivial and there might be an alternative solution, or there might be a problem someone’s running into that may help us improve infinite scrolling.

A possible solution could be to use the topic timeline and the Search if you need to find anything quickly.
