Admins can find the regular user that is associated with an anonymous user by querying the site’s database. There is a Data Explorer query for that here: Finding originating account of anonymous posts - #8 by gerhard. It might be a good idea to add this detail to the Anonymous Mode documentation: Enable and configure anonymous mode. (I don’t have permission to edit that topic.)
