When posting an image, the upload URL generated a file name that included a blocked word, and so posting was not allowed.
Our forums have *fuck* as a blocked word so we can try to stop all of the many colorful ways someone might try to use it.

That is a surprising one! If Iām understanding this correctly, the filename that includes the blocked word was generated by Discourse and not by the user.

I am afraid I can not classify this as a bug. The system is indeed working as designed. My recommendation here is to be less aggressive here and just use fuck* if you are really worried about the word finding its way you can auto flag stuff with *fuck*
