Is it possible to limit the number of images per post, regardless of TL?

I haven’t been able to find this question answered in Meta, maybe I’m missing something. But in my site settings, I don’t see a setting that will limit the number of images one can include in a post, aside from the setting for TL0 users.

In general we don’t mind folks adding a few images, but more than 3-4 can make the topic more difficult to read and does count against our total storage limit, so I was wondering if it was possible to set a limit to embedded images per post. Thanks!

No, there isn’t AFAIK. But you can play with max size, because that is the question, not amount of images per se.

A potential workaround could involve adjusting the max image size kb setting to restrict the maximum size of individual image uploads. This won’t limit the quantity of images in a post, but it could help manage storage usage.
