Is there any workaround solution using MySQL instead of PostgreSQL when deploying Discourse?

Hello,

Our company has a self-developed database named TiDB(https://www.pingcap.com), and it’s a MySQL compatible database. And we are also using Discourse as community forum, so we are
now thinking about firstly using MySQL instead of PostgreSQL when deploying Discourse, then we can migrate it directly to TiDB…

Is there any workaround solution for this ? Any tips is ok.

Thanks a lot!

No, this is not possible.

What problem are you trying to solve? Do you need your app to work with discourse in some way? That’s what the API is for.

Get, thanks any way.

No, I just want to run Discourse with MySQL instead of PostgreSQL…

That cannot be done.
