So I was looking around to quickly find the version of a site on which I’m not an admin. I remembered I could find it in the page source code, but realized that might not be too obvious to a non-technical person that was curious what software was being used.
I couldn’t find any discussion about this, but it seemed to me that it might be worthwhile to list on the /about page, e.g.:
