Lock Downloads in discourse

hi i want to lock downloads. When user try to download file that is uploaded in topic. he need to be logged in how to do that?

I believe you need to set up “Secure Media”:

AFAIK secure media uploads mirrors the access control of the post where the file is uploaded.

So, unless:

• the site is login required
• the topic is in a secured category
• the topic is a PM

The download will be available, as the topic is available.
