I hope you are good. I noticed a high dropped number of subscriber in the mailgun dashbord, is this related to GDPR and then normal ? Or did i do something wrong ?
Did i miss an annoncement ?

Those are essentially bounced emails if I understand it correctly. Not sure what the cause would be though. I would check the logs and or contact Mailgun Support.

You can filter the Mailgun log for those messages, then see in the summaries what the prevalent issue might be.
If you are on a shared IP address at Mailgun, it’s possible that another account caused it to be blacklisted by one or more of the common email services which would affect deliverability to your users on them.
Mailgun support is pretty good about switching you to a “less noisy” IP address if that happens.

nein, eigentlich nicht, aber es scheint jetzt wieder normal zu funktionieren. Das Verhalten hat sich jedoch geändert: Es werden nun einmal pro Woche E-Mails gesendet, und die Anzahl wächst kaum noch; es ist ziemlich stabil.
Ich habe mich auch für eine dedizierte IP-Adresse entschieden, in der Hoffnung, dass sich das verbessern würde, bin mir aber nicht ganz sicher.
Lass mich wissen, ob ich weiterhelfen kann.

Natürlich ist die E-Mail-Adresse beim Erstellen eines Benutzerkontos in Discourse definitiv verifiziert, da E-Mail = Identität in Discourse ist.
E-Mail-Konten können jedoch im Laufe der Zeit nicht mehr funktionieren, oder es kann sich um eine Migration mit bestehenden Benutzern handeln, die sich zwar anmelden können, aber keine Kontrolle mehr über ihre alte E-Mail-Adresse haben usw.
Der Prozess des Zählens von E-Mail-Rückläufern, wenn konfiguriert, kann aus diesen Gründen wichtig sein:
Ja, es ist jetzt ausgefallen. Zuvor trat nur der permanente Fehler auf. Ich habe nun den temporären Fehler hinzugefügt.
