Is there some way to change the “Thanks for letting us know. We’re looking into it.” message that’s automatically sent when a user flags something?

Or some way to change the sender so it’s clear that it’s a system message rather than from the admin (me)?

Sure, you can edit the automated message by going to admin > customise > text and searching for flags_dispositions.

The automated message should be coming from @system already I believe?

edit: Just tested and it does not. The staff who handles the flag send the automated message.

If the site contact username setting has been configured, system messages will be sent from that username instead of from the system user.
