I believe, It’s time to translate the official Discourse webpage.

We have a great multilingual community solution. To convince new people to adapt Discourse, it’s necessary to reduce the borders in minds. Especially old / more conservative decision makers requesting more information in their native language. There is no question, that the admin it self’s could handle this within a dialog, but it costs me a lot of time and afford to repeat this over and over again.

I think, we should do a step forward and the Discourse core team should enable client-side language detection and the translation teams should work together for a diverse & multilingual first contact experience

I believe it’s on our roadmap even though I never got around to create a real Todo for this task. I guess we can now use this topic for it.

This task was mostly blocked by the need to overhaul some parts of the website. I think this is now (mostly?) done.

Acabei de me deparar com este tópico novamente e pensei em postar uma atualização: pelo menos em alguns idiomas, o site agora está disponível.

O que às vezes me confunde um pouco é que os mesmos termos e grafias não são usados como na interface do fórum. Plug-in sempre foi corrigido pelos revisores para a versão com hífen. Além disso, no meu fórum, por exemplo, está escrito “Anzeigen” na lista de plug-ins, e na tabela de preços, em vez disso, está escrito “Werbung”.
