I have my discourse installed at nammavtu.in and I would like to redirect forum.nammavtu.in to nammavtu.in. I have added a CNAME in Cloudflare DNS, I’m using Cloudflare to manage my DNS, no CDN, but I’m getting an SSL certificate error when I visit forum.nammavtu.in. Can I fix this somehow?

Enable Cloudflare proxy (orange cloud) for forum.nammavtu.in and then create a page rule in cloudflare to redirect forum.nammavtu.in to nammavtu.in with 301 status.
Enabling Cloudflare proxy for CNAME records solved it, there was no need to use page rules, I don’t know how it’s working, but it’s working, thank you.
You need page rules to make sure that cloudflare always sends requests to correct location. I’ve seen cases where people suffer issues later if proper rules are not configured but Your mileage may vary.
