I am reaching out to request help with an issue I encountered while setting up a new forum.
While trying to create the forum, I didn’t realize I was logged into the wrong Google account. On the step where I was asked to enter the community name and domain, I filled in the information as usual. After proceeding, I noticed the mistake and closed the page.
I then logged into my correct account and tried to set up the forum again using the same name. However, I am now receiving the message: “The domain you entered is not valid or is already taken.”
It seems the name might still be reserved or associated with the initial attempt. Is it possible to remove or release this name from the system so that I can complete the registration correctly?
I can assist with verification (including two-factor authentication), if needed, to prove ownership of the account used in the initial attempt.
I also tried updating the email linked to the original setup to the correct account, but I did not receive the confirmation email.
