schneeland is experiencing issues with notifications for some replies on Meta, specifically in the Postgres 15 thread. They still receive some notifications, but not all. sam mentions a potentially related issue reported in another thread. However, zogstrip suggests that schneeland may have changed their notification settings, which schneeland denies, stating that the issue seems to be related to in-profile notifications. zogstrip asks schneeland to ping them if the issue occurs again, as they are unable to reproduce it.
I have recently noticed that I am not receiving notifications for some replies here on meta. I do still receive some notifications, so they are not completely broken, but for two replies with quotes in the Postgres 15 thread I did not receive anything. I’m not sure when this started, but I only started observing it in the past week.

Looks like you’ve changed (either intentionally or not) your settings on meta to not be emailed when getting a notification (only when getting a PM)
Emails I did change consciously, but that was shortly after I registered (i.e. probably more than a year ago).
What is new and what feels like a bug to me is that I didn’t get notifications in the notification area of the profile for some of mwaniki’s replies in the postgres 15 thread.
Can you ping me if that happens again? I’m not able to reproduce.
