On another forum using the discourse software, I took a break, I had the setting consider topics new when I haven’t viewed them yet
Despite that, when I came back and was scrolling through lastest I found a LOT of topics from before 10 days ago that were not in my new topics, why was that the case? Now it’s very frustrating having to scroll down in lastest to find those.
It’s possible this setting only takes effect at the time you toggle it, e.g. would you really want all the topics from the last 10 years to be considered new the moment you switch that setting? That’d be a lot of new topics!
I had it toggled before I took my break, it seems to be broken.
I spent several days reading the topics from the lastest tab (1 month’s worth of topics), it was an inconvenience.
