Notice of new messages won't disappear after clicking New

Steps to reproduce:

  • Wait til a new message is posted, causing the blue notice bar to appear above the topics
  • Don’t click it to refresh the list. Click New in the menu bar
  • The notice will stay

Could this be fixed easily @eviltrout? A click on New implicitly dismisses the bar if it is present?

Yes it’s an easy fix. It’s already in place when navigating, but not refreshing the current pill:
