Obsolete imgur image link images

Continuing the discussion from Slack Login Plugin:

I suppose a large “no longer” image is better than nothing at all? But I found it a bit jarring in it’s immensity.

Can anyone think of any easy to implement improvements?
Or is the status quo good enough?

We can just edit the post to remove the image, perfect “image is gone” handing is impossible.
