Option to show a different icon in sub categories

For a new user, the double color in the “Contributing” sub category probably doesn’t mean anything, it just looks like another category with a different color box.
Maybe some admins don’t worry much about it, but I think it could be a good feature if the admin could pick between that option (double color box), and an icon that can visually represent a sub category. Something like this:

Maybe even add a slight indentation?

I guess it would be as is, yes. But if the main category is present, I believe that having a clearer icon would help visually speaking.

this would be a feature people could turn on or off anyway. Maybe some admins wouldn’t see it as beneficial. I would though.
