[PAID] Update existing theme component to use header authentication

What would you like done?
We have a custom theme component that recently started returning an error.

In the admin dashboard it lists the error as being related to the depreciation of the request body authentication method.

The developer who originally created the component for us is unavailable to take on this fix, so we need someone who can step into the existing code and resolve the error(s) so that the custom theme component is again working.

We don’t want any new features, we don’t need to change any existing features, and we don’t want to refactor anything.

When do you need it done?
We’d like it completed by Monday, January 6th, 2020.

What is your budget, in $ USD that you can offer for this task?
Our budget is $150 for changing the authorization method.

Our understanding is that changing the authorization method will fix all the underlying issues. If that’s not the case please let us know and we’ll adjust our budget accordingly.

These are unrelated errors. One is a javascript error in the theme, and the other is an external system integrating with your site which is using the old API authentication method.

If this particular site is hosted with us, feel free to drop us an email with the site URL and we can help you identify what system is calling the API in this way.

Ah, interesting. That’s really good to know @david.

It’s worth noting that as soon as we disabled the theme component the admin dashboard error goes away. When we reenable the theme component the admin dashboard error comes back.
