Perform backend customisations with themes

Hi community,

I just wanted to know if someone have information about possibility of doing customisations like this ones https://github.com/discourse/discourse-tooltips/blob/master/app/controllers/discourse_tooltips/tooltip_previews_controller.rb from a theme project. I haven’t found information yet about it and don’t know if the only possibility is through plugins.

In other words, I have a project like https://github.com/discourse/discourse-knowledge-base-theme and I want to do things like https://github.com/discourse/discourse-tooltips/blob/master/app/controllers/discourse_tooltips/tooltip_previews_controller.rb

Yeah that’s only possible in a plugin. Themes are generally limited to modifying the frontend of Discourse.
