Was looking at the following and noticed Discourse can be setup to show inbound links:

Crossed my fingers and linked in from GitHub but no inbound hyperlink appeared. Thoughts on setting up pingbacks or similar to help complete the discussion. I’m aware there are spam/security concerns with pingbacks but I see a lot of value in a feature like this if it could be run through Akismet somehow.
