I used /admin/customize/site_texts to customize a lot of text. Then I updated a plugin and rebuilt the app, now all the customizations are gone and I don’t know how to retrieve them. I backup the site daily. What would you do?
What language are you using? All prior accounts of this issue were using Russian, I think.
I use the German language.
Okay, so non-english. That’s at least something consistent with other reports.
Don’t know, if this is connected: But I started the process here /admin/upgrade to upgrade a plugin. This upgrade process was killed. Before there were a lot of error messages along the lines of “variable conflicts”. I then rebuilt the app in my terminal window - and the custom texts were gone.
@eviltrout could it be that the migration from site_text to translation_overrides is missing some cases?
Try this method and all custom texts should be returned:

It is a temporary fix I hope because after next upgrade/rebuild you will lose custom texts again 
P.S. Rebuilding is not neccesary in this case.

I admit I have absolutely no idea, but I’m wondering if some kind of cache issue is involved here?
