Rails plugin generator

I assume that is a Rails convention I need to learn? Where all routes defined with underscores are accessed with dashes?

DiscourseRacoon::Engine.routes.draw do
  get "/" => "discourse_racoon#index", constraints: DiscourseRacoonConstraint.new

The URL portion is on the left side, the Ruby code reference is on the right side of the =>. The _ vs - is defined at the engine mount line.
