Wondering if anyone has taken a look at implementing this yet?
With current the current issues around the Reddit admins and beginning to charge for previously free things, many subreddits blacked out in protest. Reddit’s CEO told his team to just ignore it because it will pass, so a few subreddits I mod are now just looking to move permanently off reddit.
If no one has worked on this yet, this might be a great time to implement the same flow as facebook SSO when a user has disallowed facebook email sharing. Connect to Reddit, retrieve the username, then ask for an email to complete the sign up process.
I could maybe look at it, but it would be next week at the soonest.
