That is not possible, and not recommended since you would need to check for collisions (current and in the future), eg having a username as latest or categories.

Instagram, facebook, twitter are easier to find a URL
then you will send a link that is domain.com/name or you prefer domain.com/u/name
Not possible and bad idea due to route conflicts as stated earlier.
