Eliminar un plugin - ¿ se pierden los datos del plugin?

A somewhat urgent request. If I remove a plugin like the Events plugin (commenting it out from app.yml and doing a “launcher rebuild app”), will the associated data (ie event dates) be removed permanently?

The data should remain even if you remove the plugin from app.yml
