Rouvrir le rapport

Hello, I clicked on the wrong button when reviewing a message in the moderation area. How can I reopen the message?

If i try to Report it myself i geht:

All reports are received by the moderators and reviewed as quickly as possible.

Sorry, you cannot report this post at this time.

Hi Tealk! I just unlisted this topic because I am not sure what it is about. Are you saying you flagged something here on this site and clicked on the wrong flag reason? If so just let me know the topic you are referring to and what you meant to select as the flag reason and I’ll take a look.

No, on my own page, I use the report function to have topics that have been posted in the wrong category so the creator can edited it. There are many tags in the correct category that only the creator can answer.

I reported the post and accidentally clicked “no” instead of “hide yes.”

I am still confused. What report function are you referring to? Are you talking about DIscourse?

it’s about everything you can find after reporting under the following link: /review?sort_order=score

Oh, ok.. so you are talking about the review queue. So you are saying that you flag (that’s what you mean by report, I think) topics that are in the wrong category. Then you decide on the action you want to take on the flag.

In this case you made a mistake and took an action that you did not intend, and you want to change your mind and take a different action?

Have I got that right now?

If so then yes, it is not possible to flag the same post again after action has been taken. As moderator why don’t you just move the topic yourself?

Yes, exactly, that’s what I meant. Sorry, the terms of discourse weren’t entirely clear to me.

There are 5 mandatory tags that I, as a moderator/administrator, cannot answer. Only the topic creator can properly categorize them.
Therefore, I am hiding the post with the option that the creator must edit it.

Got it! Thanks for perservering to explain to me. The terminology can sometimes be confusing but it helps to learn it so we are all talking about the same thing.

I think your approach can work quite well. But it is not possible to flag the same post twice. My suggestion in this case would be to reach out to the topic creator directly via chat or personal message to ask them for the correct tags, then you can fix it for them.
