Request for confirmation dialog following new user approval

Hi all. Request for confirmation dialog following new user approval. See screenshot below for context.

My use case is admining the openmod forum using a tablet on a train which then went over a bump. The intended target was approved, the screen refreshed in a blink, and the second unintended target was inadvertently approved as I lurched forward.

An intervening confirmation dialog that then would require the admin to explicitly dismiss could be one solution. Also nice to have an immediate visual record of who you have just admitted to your community. TIA.

Thanks for the input. Our team is doing a bit of a review queue revamp and we’ll bear this request in mind.

In which case, some shared way of tracking joint review actions could be really useful. The present “system” we use at the Open Energy Modelling Initiative forum is workable but certainly not scalable. We are probably a bit different from other forums in that every applicant with a non‑institutional email address must write a couple of sentences about their interest in energy modeling. Our non‑response rate runs at a constant 15%. Individual moderators keep their own private logs. Mine relies on the emacs editor with quite a lot of background scripting to check dates and schedules and generate different standalone emails. We did consider creating a dedicated field for recording shared notes within discourse but that would also be quite clumsy and error‑prone.

We are now getting AI produced responses to the domain interest question which complicates matters and will doubtless grow going forward. Not something that discourse can help with of course.

Happy to user review and beta test too.
