I was wondering if it would be possible to disable social login but still let users associate their account. I only want to have users be able to register with SAML but still show social accounts on their profile that are verified. Is there a way to do that without allowing them to login with social accounts? I already have social logins being handled with the SAML system and require the SAML account for non-discourse portions of the site so they need a SAML account.

This kind of mixed mode is not supported, best you can do today is have them add info about social accounts in the about me section.

Thanks for the reply, that’s what I feared but I guess that could work. I was just wanting to only show it on their profile if there was some way to verify that they own the account.
