Hello,
Previously when searching you were able to filter searches by the keyword appearing in title, not post.
This seems to have disappeared in the latest update when looking at advanced filters - is this just a bug for me or is it a feature?
Any help appreciated, thanks

The structure of advanced search options has changed a little bit, you can now find it under the “Only return topics/posts…” dropdown as “matching in title only.” This was part of an update that also allows selecting multiple options from that dropdown.

The option to search for titles is still available for logged-in users. It was moved from the separate checkbox into the dropdown below:
But it’s missing for logged-out users:
But it seems this has been the case before, too. It’s the same on a forum that is still on v3.6.0.beta1-dev. The checkbox is only visible when I am logged in
I wonder why only users who are logged in can see this option. I think it would make sense to show it for visitors, too.

Oh thank you, I found it now!

Oh thanks for noticing, doesn’t seem like there’s much reason to restrict this since in:title works manually for logged in users when typed in

When logged out the `matching in title only` option isn't available on `/search`… — this adds it. I don't think there's much reason to not have it here, logged out visitors can already use `in:title` manually.
