Didn’t see any recent threads about arm64 support, so wanted to report that I’ve got Discourse running on an AWS EC2 r7g.large (2x Graviton3 cores, 16GB RAM), using the Ubuntu 24.04 AMI, and everything just…kinda…works.

There’s no difference from running it on the t3a.large I was previously using, except that ./launcher rebuild app takes 5 minutes instead of 10. My use case right now is very limited and I’m not using any plugins outside of core, but every bit of Discourse that I can test all just………works.

Good job to the Discourse team. This is awesome.

Me too - I’m running on CAX11 instances at Hetzner. I think they might be “AMD Ampere Altra Neoverse-N1”.

I think it’s still true that inbound email isn’t available on ARM, but I don’t use that, and I’m not sure about it.
