Set default mailing list only to new topics?

I searched but I didn´t see this onption.

Could be possible to enable the mailing list only on new topics instead every single message?

I think that could be good to not overwhelm users and keep the engagement that mailing list gives to Discourse.

You can have users watch first post on a category.
