Simplest URL to a specific topic

I know I can specific a topic URL with:

https://www.mydiscourse.url/t/523

which is pretty straightforward. But let’s say I wanted to eliminate the /t/ from the URL and have any URL where there is just a number assume it is a topic number? Any way to safely do that using the admin Permalink Normalizations?

Why? Because if I want to do social media images that refer people to a topic, I’m noticing that visually

domain.com/523

Looks clearer than

domain.com/t/523

at least to my eyes and my team.
