Is there anyone that has Storj S3 working with discourse?
If so can you share your setup… I can upload, but image/file links are broken
I was able to get the back-ups to work without issue.

I got it to work for backups. The client that had expressed interest in using it never provided me with credentials so I didn’t get very far with testing and, I think, I used just some test/trial version, and it was very soon after they’d released the product.
Will it even let you create public access uploads? Can you create a storj s3 file that can be downloaded without a key?
Not really simple answers to your questions - StorJ documentation says yes Public Access to uploads is possible, yet not exactly straightforward.
(I’m not an AWS user, so I could not compare the two).
Your second question I may not fully understand, “downloaded” without a key - technically we would only link to a file? but the link would be generated using a key (at least that’s my thought process on this), not sure you would be able to download.
StorJ public access to buckets
Even looking at those I’m not sure if they can be incorporated into discourse.
(while looking into this, I see that Storj is using discourse for their forum, maybe I should ask how they are handling uploads…)
Can you see the uploaded files through the storj interface?
Can you then get a url for a file and see it in your browser on an incognito window?
You need to do all of that public bucket stuff. Did you do that?
They are on another kind of s3 compatible bucket.
