I think this is fine, as long is its collapsed for people without an image its all good.
Iâm starting to think the transparent background box behind the text for so much of the box is not a good idea.
I can see users complaining about this.
In my case users are very proud of their cars - and placing a car image as a background would not yield the expected results as only the roof top of the car would show.
For FB profile cards these look different depending if a background image is set:
Also the more information displayed the larger the white area gets at the bottom.
How is this different? - just that the user doesnât loose part of their image behind the text.
I think thatâs a good point⌠that slight transparency really isnât adding anything and makes it a bit harder to know how much of the image will be visible when itâs uploaded
Iâm working on the usercard now, but it may be worth revisiting with slightly more transparency⌠so itâs a bit more obvious that thereâs a photo there. Going to sit on that thought a bit.
