Today error when upgrade from 2.5.1 to 2.5.2, discourse-assign

Today, before updating the production forum, I tried to update the test forum with version 2.5.1 stable and got the following error:

** INCOMPATIBLE PLUGIN **

You are unable to build Discourse due to errors in the plugin at
/var/www/discourse/plugins/discourse-assign

What to do about it?

you might want to update the system software before as well and make sure you on the correct postgresql.

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade

and then make sure you using PostgreSQL 12

I have upgraded a PostgreSQL container on a different server to version 12:

└─# docker exec -it 5a6c70035b87 psql --version
psql (PostgreSQL) 12.4 (Debian 12.4-1.pgdg100+1)

And it didn’t help! The forum still refused to build with the discourse-assign plugin…
I updated the system software on the server where Discourse is located:

root@cuba-test-forum-ru:/var/discourse# apt update
Hit:1 https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu bionic InRelease
Hit:2 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic InRelease
Get:3 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic-updates InRelease [88.7 kB]
Get:4 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic-backports InRelease [74.6 kB]
Get:5 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic-security InRelease [88.7 kB]
Fetched 252 kB in 1s (201 kB/s)
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
All packages are up to date.

And that helped! The forum was built and started normally with the discourse-assign plugin.
Just out of curiosity - why is that?

The feature was added 27 days ago:

https://github.com/discourse/discourse-assign/commit/303274eae3c6012ee6178c347d834aed40fe3906

This happened because the plugin and core Discourse, for you, needed to be updated at the same time. A command-line rebuild accomplishes that.

I used the command line: launcher rebuild app
From the beginning.
But until I updated the system software on the server - Discourse gave an error when rebuilding with the discouse-assign plugin.
I wonder why this is so. Previously, there was no need to update the system software.
