A topic with two posts. The original post, and one reply.
The ‘Topic progress’ says ‘2/2’, which is confusing for users, because you only see one post:
When I click on the ‘Topic progress’ button, the timeline view opens and inside this timeline I can scroll up to post one:
After stopping to click, the timeline closes but disocurse of course can’t reach post one, where it should land with the default timeline behaviour.
To me, this feels confusing and it seems inconsistent.
I’m torn between finding this useful and a buggy, confusing user experience.
I’ve created a feature request to include an option to show the first post, which maybe would make this less confusing. Especially when linking to existing topics.
I’m sure the fix to this problem is not easy and maybe it will need time, but I still feel it’s important for a great user experience.
