Translation plugin post action button to show for anonymous users and direct to the login/signup page

It relates to my question over here, where the reply was that:

I further tested this and indeed - anonymous users don’t even see a translation post action button:

As such, it would be nice if there was an option to show the translation button to the anonymous users which would then navigate them to the login/signup page upon a click. This is the current behaviour of the like button.

And after thinking about it a little bit more, I assume the feature request could be resolved with a small theme component. Is that the case? :slight_smile:

I don’t see why not to be honest :slight_smile:

It would be small a theme component that

  1. adds an icon that links to /login
  2. only shows for anonymous users

Feels like a perfect request for marketplace, but you can of course also reach out to us using the normal channels.

It sounds like a good idea and a nice addition to the plugin. Hopefully we can hit the Rule of Three and get it in to the plugin itself. :crossed_fingers: :slight_smile:
