This can be done today in a theme component if one wishes. I know 100% that @codinghorror would be 100% against, by default, popping up a JIT every time an admin hits the delete button.
A JIT on every delete would heavily discourage admins and mods from pruning the garden cause there is constant added friction.

Pop the composer filled with a DM to the person, official warning = yes.
(obviously the post itself would have a red background too from the moderator just now deleting it, I don’t have a test instance anymore to use for this!)
Unless we can include the original deleted message it’s not going to be particularly helpful.
Are we expecting the user to remember all of their posts in the topic and identify which was removed?
If it does include the original message then we’re still talking about rebranding delete as ‘move to PM’.
If it is a theme component that is fine but I would not ship this by default.
I also think that this added friction is not necessary and neither does it make sure that people get notified. There should be friction for not sending a notification, not the other way around.
Dopo aver seguito alcuni link, ho scoperto che di default non viene inviata alcuna notifica alle persone che hanno uno dei loro post cancellato!?? (anche se non viene fornito alcun motivo). Personalmente, lo trovo irrispettoso nei loro confronti (diciamo che è solo la mia opinione).
L’attrito sarà molto maggiore quando gli utenti noteranno che alcuni dei loro post sono stati cancellati. E prima o poi, alcuni lo noteranno inevitabilmente. Allora si chiederanno quanti post sono stati rimossi. Si arrabbieranno, e si arrabbieranno ancora di più per non essere stati nemmeno informati. È in quel momento che la presunta “frizione” delle notifiche amichevoli apparirà, a posteriori, come un’ottima idea 
Alcuni feedback degli utenti. Mi è appena successo per la prima volta. Era in un thread in cui il post è stato segnalato dalla comunità e ho ricevuto una notifica di questo passaggio, ma quando ho cliccato sul link della notifica per andare al mio post, mi ha portato al post che seguiva il mio. Il mio è scomparso e ora il thread manca di contesto. Significa che un amministratore ha rimosso un record dal database sottostante o l’interfaccia utente consente cancellazioni così vaghe? Grazie per eventuali risposte.
La seconda opzione. È proprio di questo che tratta questo argomento. Nessun dato viene rimosso dal database, quindi il tuo post è ancora “là”, semplicemente non viene visualizzato.
