Should be fa-

Itâs a tiny bit confusing, but itâs not a typo. Since version 5, FontAwesome comes in different bundles or variants, solid, regular, brands, etc. In Discourse, icon names default to the solid bundle, to use an icon from regular or brands you need to use a prefix. It helps to see that fieldâs full contents: âEnter a Font Awesome icon name (use prefix âfar-â for regular icons and âfab-â for brand icons)â.
Side note: as of about a month ago, that field searches through the list of icons if you start typing, so the instructions are no longer essential, we might drop them altogether shortly. You just need to type part of an iconâs name (like âcamâ) and youâll see a subset and be able to pick right away.
