Continuing the discussion from Discourse 2.6.0.beta1 Release Notes:
2.6.0.beta1 contains no new features or other major changes.
Seems like it’s been a looonnnggg time since I updated to 2.6.0.beta1. But that also seems the latest tag. Summer doldrums or change in how often there are releases?
(Is it expected that I can’t use select then hit the QUOTE button when using the start-a-linked-topic?)
Correct, 2.6.0.beta1 is the latest release. There have been plenty of changes since June 24th, we just haven’t cut a new release. No particular reason.
In case you (or someone else readig) don’t know, you can upgrade if you want and get what’s new. I know one site that, at least for a time, would do an upgrade every day.
This assumes you’re tracking tests-passed, which is the default for a site following the official install. This will not work if you manually changed to track beta (not recommended).
