Update from 2.9.0 beta2 to beta4 failed (my site is down)

Yes, that works for me!

The problem goes down in line. Looks like MaxMindDB is failed due Error: Invalid license key. Gosh!
How to disable MaxMindDB for me? Is there easy way?

Hooray! You’ll still want to get PG upgraded, but at least you can get your site back up now.

I think you just comment out the the line that sets the key.

Since people their forums are being unavailable while they sort things out, yes, that makes sense.

That’s always going to be a risk once config files are edited to move away from the default install.

As of tomorrow Postgres 12 happened two years ago. Do current releases need to support database that far back?

Thank you all! Finally I make my site up and running.
Now I need to make PG updates in manual mode as I understand.

This was about offering band aids to allow people to get their site back up, which is (IMO) different from “supporting” it.

Do we really need to throw drowning people a lifeline, they had plenty of time to learn to swim?
