We’re planning to update the TOS, but many of our users stay logged in. How do we have a TOS display when they next visit the site, and require their acceptance of TOS before continuing to the forum? Will the Discourse Policy component do the trick? GitHub - discourse/discourse-policy

I also added a user field so I can put the version of the TOS in its name. This is however pretty cumbersome, especially since the fixed TOS acceptance checkbox can’t be replaced.
Would be good if the system acceptance either can have a „accepted version date“ (and audit log) or if the custom field is the way to go make it more seamless as the checkbox. (It’s a legal requirement here to track consent that detailed).
